The famous backgammon game redesigned by Djeco with new illustrations.

This game has been known since ancient times and has two types of play: a game of chance, where it is played for stakes, and a match game, where winning is the goal. It is mostly a two-player game, but can be played by two groups as well. It is a smart and strategic game, with a simple rule: the goal is to move the pieces (called “checkers”) on the game board and remove them from the board. The game board is divided into four sections: the home board, the outer board, the opponent’s home board, and the opponent’s outer board. These sections are separated by a bar.

Backgammon or “tabula” can be played by two players on a 24-point board with 15 checkers each. Each point is marked with triangles and the checkers move according to the roll of dice. Players move their checkers around the board in opposite directions and the winner is the one who removes all their checkers first.
